WEEK THREE – SOUND

When we are experimenting with the sounds that we can make in an erotic way, we look at our bodies as instruments of pleasure that can be played – in tune or out of tune. The tuning of our instrument happens through movement and breath, sweetly calibrating the energy of our bodies to get in resonance with what it needs to express. Sound can work as an anchor to keep us present in the moment, just like mantra chanting does. Sound can also travel deep into our animal roots and express what’s been suppressed for many years.

ORGASMIC YOGA MEDITATIONS (choreographies)

The Orgasmic Yoga Meditations are erotic choreographies, so everybody has the freedom to vary the practice, depending on their needs and intentions. You can also deepen and practice choreographies from last week again, if you want.

WHY SOUND IS SO IMPORTANT

Download your PDF on sound. Our voices tell our stories, they are the very blueprint of our psyche and how we use our voice can utterly change our lives. We are noisy creatures from the start. From the first roar of life, as we take our first breath, we use are voices to connect with the world. The sounds we make, the tones we use, the words we choose – all direct our lives and shape our identity.

A SOUNDSCAPE FORM AN ORGASMIC YOGA GROUP SESSION

This week we invite you to go on an alchemical journey of sound. Allowing the inner noise to be transformed by the fire of our orgasmic energies. If you feel like you want to go on this journey with a soundscape of an orgasmic yoga group practice (for the EROTIC TRANCE SOUNDSCAPE), we have one here for you to listen to. We always recommend to use sound as an anchor rather than a distraction. If the sounds of this recording trigger or pull you out, practice staying centred. Observe what is coming up for you when hearing the sounds and catch the thoughts attached to that. Are you creating stories in your head? Or can you allow the sound to just penetrate you without judgment? Wearing a blindfold might be useful. Just keep exploring what sounds are responding out of your depth.

Another idea could be to record one of your solo loving sessions and play it back to yourself the next day in the next session. There is no end to the creativity for this practice.

Version 1: The first is the raw soundscape of a group orgasmic Yoga session. This will give you an impression of what it will feel like to be in the same room and liberate yourself through sound. 

Version 2: This is the same soundscape combined with binaural beats that focus and activate the sexual Chakra. If you choose this one it is advised to listen to it with headphones for maximum results. 

Genital chakra vibration – listen with headphones

Version 3: is simply the binaural beats that activate sexual energy, without the soundscape. It makes a good background music for a slow practice. It is recommended to listen with headphones for maximum result.

This is a practice that trains your brain to become more receptive and present within your body. When you learn to shift awareness from one hand to another, from the giving to the receiving, you can extract so much more pleasure from your own touch. See for yourself and give it a try! Injoy

EXTRA MOVEMENT AND BREATH PRACTICES

BIG DRAW AND LITTLE DRAW

Another slightly advanced intentional breathing technique borrowed from the ancient Taoist practices, to play with in your Orgasmic Yoga practice.

This one is very good for drawing energy up the spine. Watch the video for  instructions and make sure you do this only if you feel comfortable with the sensations of energy moving through your body.

HIP LIFT

A way to incorporate more of your hip into your Orgasmic Yoga practice. Done lying on the floor, padding or rocking the pelvis on the floor to shake up stuck energy in the spine and hips.

Incorporate deep breathing and sound to make this practice complete and follow your body with variations of your liking.

LAUGHTER PRACTICE

This is FUN. And sometimes seriously challenging. This week we play with sound and one of the most incredible sounds that the human race is capable of making is laughter. Not many other species can do this (apart from rats that are apparently ticklish!) So let’s laugh because we can.

This alone seems to be enough reason to do it, but for most it is very challenging. Watch the video and hear our experience with it and then just go inside of yourself and find the cosmic joke! It’s somewhere in there, for sure!

ORGASMIC CIRCULAR BREATH WITH SOUND

Practice this for five to ten minutes. The essence of the Circular Breath is breathing in a continuous flow, with no break or pause between the inhale and the exhale. You can do this breath sitting, standing, or lying down.

This breath is particularly useful for circulating erotic energy around your own body and between yourself and your partner. It builds and moves energy, and it intensifies feelings – both emotional and physical. Some variations on the Circular Breath include breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth while visualizing an unbroken figure eight instead of a circle. Also, by adding sounds on the out breath. The sound A, E, I, O, U.
